Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly leading “separate lives” has sparked concern from pals that the couple are “drifting apart”.

Harry, 40, appeared to beam from ear to ear as he stepped out on his latest trip to Africa – a trip that he took without Meghan.

The Duke, who now resides in the US with Meghan, also embarked on a solo trip to London earlier this week to attend this year’s WellChild awards. Meghan is said to have remained at home in Montecito with their children.

Harry’s series of solo visits have now reportedly led friends to fear that the couple – who have been married for six years – are slowly “drifting apart”.

As reported by The Sun, a source close to Meghan and Harry has spoken out on the speculation that all may not be well in the Sus𝑠e𝑥 camp.

Speaking of the rumours, the source said: “It is normal for couples to not do everything together.”

Aside from their work life, insiders recently told The Sun that the couple have also been spending more of their down time apart.

According to an article by the publication, Harry has barely been home to Montecito for the past three weeks. Whilst in the UK earlier this week, Harry did not see either his father, King Charles nor his brother, Prince William.

Speaking of his appearance at the WellChild awards, which took place at London’s Royal Lancastar Hotel, one of those attending said that Harry “looked like the old Harry we knew and loved”.

This comes after it has been confirmed that another one of Meghan and Harry’s staff members is set to step down from their role at Archewell.

Ashley Hansen – who acted as Archewell’s communications chief for two years – has announced that she will be leaving to set up her own PR firm.

Although this announcement has been made, Ashley will continue to act as “advisor” to the couple and will manage the PR for American Riviera Orchard.

Since stepping down as senior working royals in 2020, Meghan and Harry now reside in California with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
