Sus𝑠e𝑥 is a historic county in South East England divided into West Sus𝑠e𝑥 and East Sus𝑠e𝑥. It is expanded on the area of 3,783 km² with a total population of 1,705,622 as of 2021 which roughly estimates to be 450.8 inhabitants per km².

The kingdom of Sus𝑠e𝑥 was created in 5th Century (477 to be exact) from the Roman canton and continued to remain a kingdom until Wes𝑠e𝑥 conquered Sus𝑠e𝑥 in 827. By 927, Wes𝑠e𝑥 has conquered various other kingdoms and Lord-lieutenant of Sus𝑠e𝑥 was replaced with one each for east and west Sus𝑠e𝑥. And they became two different ceremonial counties until 1974. Now they are historic counties.This is all the history of Sus𝑠e𝑥 but is it only famous for it’s history or there’s another unique purpose it serves? Well, yes. It does.

Well, this is not 100% true as it is based on a theory and a story that is related to it. Many people call it as just another random story made up by people and made famous by people also. In my article, we will discuss about why “Sus𝑠e𝑥 is call as the place where the world ends.”

Coastal beachy head of Sus𝑠e𝑥 located in East Sus𝑠e𝑥 is often referred as “the end of the world” but there are many other facts about it rather than just this.In past few months, many pictures took internet by storm by labeling Sus𝑠e𝑥 as the area where the world ends leading people to believe that world is flat. Beachy head is a chalk headland in Sus𝑠e𝑥 that is a beautiful place to visit. You can walk on the headland and look at the other places stretching beyond it. So you can tell for yourself that it is not the place where the world ends.It is the highest sea cliff in the Britain. It is 162 metres above the waters, which give beautiful view of the sea across and beyond.

There’s another theory that world’s end is located in West Sus𝑠e𝑥.

It is believed that World’s end is a place located in Burgess Hill, West Sus𝑠e𝑥. The name came with a railway arrived here and in this very place the “up” line met the “down” line while the construction of Brighton Main line which is now called as the World’s End. A horrible train accident occured at this place leading to several deaths.There are many other theories regarding the world’s end which we will discuss in another article.
