Captain America: Brave New World | Full Trailer

The Hulk in the MCU appears to be finally being addressed in Captain America: Brave New World, despite the fact that it won’t happen as I had hoped. Bruce Banner’s Hulk, one of the first superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has had a lot of time to develop and grow. In 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, Edward Norton made his screen debut as Bruce Banner; nevertheless, Mark Ruffalo has undergone the most changes and has grown more associated with the character. I’m not alone, though, in not finding all of these modifications to the Hulk to be favorable.

Because of film rights disputes, the Hulk unfortunately hasn’t been able to embark on a solo adventure since The Incredible Hulk. However, his appearances in other heroes’ projects have featured some remarkable developments for the character, but some of these have been pretty controversial. I have enjoyed seeing Bruce Banner come to terms with his two personas over the years, but enough’s enough, I want to see the so-called “Savage Hulk” return to the MCU. Interestingly, it seems Phase 5’s Captain America: Brave New World might make this possible.
