As the Chiefs star watches the tournament during his quick trip to Europe, Patrick Mahomes acknowledges that he has become a “lifetime fan” of the Euros.

Patrick Mahomes has called himself a ‘lifetime fan’ of the Euros as the Chiefs star experiences the tournament abroad on the continent.

The quarterback went to Wimbledon, watched Taylor Swift perform in Amsterdam and took in some Formula 1 action in Northamptonshire in recent days.

And his trip to Europe has also given him an added appreciation for the Euros, as he shared with his X followers on Tuesday.

‘I know I’m late to it! But watching Euros in Europe made me a lifetime fan of the tournament!!,’ he wrote.

Mahomes’ message came during a whirlwind first half between France and Spain in the semifinal, as the French opened through Randal Kolo Muani before Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo both scored for the other side.

The winner of the match will play either England or the Netherlands on Sunday in the final.

Mahomes is no stranger to soccer, as he and his wife Brittany are investors in NWSL club the Kansas City Current.

The couple was on hand in March as the club played its opening match in its new stadium – the first constructed specifically for a women’s sports franchise.

Mahomes is also an investor in Alpine F1,  alongside his teammate Travis Kelce, and he was a guest of the team for the British Grand Prix.

He and Kelce also got in some golf in London before travelling to the Netherlands to see Swift perform her Eras Tour.

There, he was seen dancing and sharing a kiss with Brittany as Swift played for the crowd at Johan Cruyff Arena.

The pair watched the show from a hospitality suite alongside Kelce, who is famously dating the A-list singer.

Both NFL stars are enjoying their offseasons after the Chiefs won a second successive Super Bowl last season.

They’ll be due back at training camp on July 21.
