Oscar De La Hoya Wants to Get $20 Million for His Brand-New Mansion in Nevada

Oscar De La Hoya decided to put his expansive Las Vegas estate, hidden away in the hillside community of Henderson, back on the market without even giving the golf simulator in his new man cave a chance to warm up. The price is a whooping $20 million, which is $5.4 million more than the current boxing promoter and former boxing champion paid for the then-unfinished layout less than two years ago.

Documents indicate that De La Hoya purchased the property in spring 2022 for $14.6 million in cash while it was still under construction. Over the course of the following two years and millions more, she totally customized the single-story home with unique features. Located behind three gates on a nearly one-acre corner lot, the ultra-modern building was constructed last year by Blue Heron as a part of the local development company’s Equinox Collection at MacDonald Highlands.

The home offers five bedrooms and seven bathrooms in nearly 9,000 square feet of single-level living space with expansive glass walls that soak in mesmerizing views of the McCullough Mountains and the Las Vegas Strip beyond. The stylish entryway features a water feature and porte-cochère. Glitzy features include a movie theater, hair salon, gym, wet bar, and six parking spaces in addition to the previously stated man cave. In addition, a 10-by-10-foot boxing ring and a personalized homage chamber honoring his accomplishments are present.

Other features include a gourmet kitchen with an oversized eat-in island and top-notch stainless appliances, along with a separate catering kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, a dining area with a climate-controlled wine room, and an office. A luxurious main suite features an own garden lanai, a spa-inspired bathroom, a closet/dressing area akin to a showroom, and an outdoor shower. Additional outdoor features include various pools, plenty of areas for entertaining and relaxing, many TVs, a barbeque area, and a fireplace.

In addition to his Las Vegas spread—which sits near a home that sold for a record-setting $25 million in June 2020 to LoanDepot chairman Anthony Hsieh and is currently on the market for $34 million—the 51-year-old Los Angeles native still owns a lavish estate in Pasadena that he purchased from married filmmakers Gale Anne Hurd and Jonathan Hensleigh for $11.5 million back in 2007.

According to Mansion Global, Zar Zanganeh of The Agency Las Vegas, who is in charge of the listing, De La Hoya intends to stay in the neighborhood and expand her house.
