Jennifer Lawrence is wearing bright red leggings and a stylishly casual look while outing her infant son Cy and her husband Cooke Maroney in New York City

Jennifer Lawrence opted for stylish comfort as she stepped out for a family stroll with her toddler son Cy and husband Cooke Maroney in NYC on Saturday.

The Hunger Games star, 33 – who recently signed on to star in a Real Housewives-inspired murder mystery – enjoyed the summer weather with her two-year-old son and the art gallery director.

The Oscar winner turned heads while sporting a pair of vibrant, red trousers as well as a plain, short-sleeved white shirt.

She slipped into a pair of closed-toed, red shoes to coincide with the color scheme of her outfit.

Lawrence easily carried a black tote bag over her right shoulder to hold a few items she needed during the daytime excursion.

Her locks were partially covered by a black hat that was placed on top of her head for a finishing touch.

Jennifer opted for minimal accessories and added a pair of mini earrings as well as black, oval-shaped shades.

The No Hard Feelings actress was seen crossing a busy street in the city next to her husband, Cooke, who pushed a stroller.

He also dressed down for the weekend stroll and donned a short-sleeved, black shirt and a pair of tan pants.

Lawrence tied the knot with Maroney back in 2019 during a romantic ceremony in Rhode Island. And in February 2022, the couple welcomed their son, Cy, to the world.

Last year in June, while opening up to Cameron Diaz for Interview Magazine, Lawrence discussed stepping back in front of the camera after welcoming her son and credited Maroney as being ‘the greatest father.’

‘Fortunately my husband is the greatest father in the entire world, so when I’m working, I don’t have any more guilt than the usual every day, all-day parent guilt.’

Her latest outing comes shortly after it was revealed that the award-winning actress has officially signed on to star in the upcoming, Real Housewives-inspired murder mystery for Apple Original Films and A24.

The Real Housewives super fan will live out her very own Bravo, day-drinking, table-tossing, bad-behaving fantasies in The Wives.

Jennifer has been open about her love of the Real Housewives franchises and she will also produce the film, which was acquired in a competitive situation, Variety reported.

The film is in development and was written by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley, who wrote the Pulitzer Prize finalist play Circle Jerk.

Apple and A24 have previously worked together on the 2022 film Causeway, also starring Lawrence.

The No Hard Feelings actress has gone on the record several times about how much she loves the Real Housewives franchise.

Earlier this year, Jennifer opined that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City deserve her 2013 Best Actress Oscar after the season four finale.

‘Best reality tv finale I think ever,’ Jennifer told E! News at the 2024 Golden Globes. ‘I was jaw on the floor, I didn’t even text – I didn’t even look at my phone!’

‘I want a painting of the moment when they’re all of the beach,’ she joked, ‘the different looks, it was amazing.’

Back in November 2017, Amelia Hamlin was reduced to tears by Lawrence’s reaction to her meeting her mother, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna.

‘This is iconic Jennifer Lawrence looks like she’s seen a ghost, I’m Done. Goodnight. Tuck. Me. In.,’ Hamlin said in the Instagram video of the moment.

And in 2014, the Silver Linings Playbook star talked about her favorite TV shows with Vanity Fair.

‘I do love my Real Housewives,’ she shared. ‘I love Intervention, New York Housewives – and Beverly Hills, New Jersey, and Atlanta Housewives. I mean, I love them all, but Miami – oh, my God! Miami is really special.’

RHONY stars Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps gave Jennifer the shock of a lifetime when they surprised her while she was appearing on Watch What Happens Live in 2018.

As Andy Cohen sat looking smug knowing what’s about to happen, Jennifer’s face looked shocked and white as a ghost.

‘I’m going to cry,’ Jennifer said as she jumped up and down before hugging the reality TV stars. ‘I got my smile back. I got my smile back. I’m seriously going to cry.’

Along with signing on to the murder mystery, Lawrence has been keeping busy and recently whisked herself away to a Scottish castle to attend a star-studded, Dior runway show earlier this month.

She opted for a white, Dior top as well as a pair of loose-fitting, dark denim flared jeans while arriving to Perthshire’s Drummond Castle.

The star layered the ensemble with a leopard-print coat that was secured with a thin, black leather belt from the luxurious French brand.

Jennifer – who is an ambassador for the company – slipped into a pair of closed-toed, black heels and carried a chic, black purse in her left hand.

The beauty completed the look for the special event by adding a pair of black shades while a black headband was placed on top of her locks that flowed down past her shoulders.
