Dana White reacts to Conor McGregor partying before Michael Chandler fight with Jon Jones comparison

UFC CEO Dana White isn’t concerned about the videos which have recently emerged of Conor McGregor partying.

The Irishman is set to return to the Octagon after a three-year hiatus against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in Las Vegas on June 29.

However, he hasn’t allowed fight camp to stop him from having a good time.

Last week, McGregor shared several videos of him and his long-time partner, Dee Devlin, partying until the early hours of the morning at his Dublin bar, the Black Forge Inn.

Fans have expressed their worries about McGregor’s condition heading into fight night.

But White isn’t nearly as caught up in it all having seen MMA great Jon Jones enjoy similar late-night sessions throughout his career.

“We were talking about Jon Jones,” he said at the UFC 302 post-fight press conference.

“Jon Jones was doing a lot of that stuff too back in the day and many other fighters throughout history.

“I don’t know what’s real on the internet and what’s not real on the internet.

“I don’t know timing-wise; in one of them he’s got a beard, in one of them he doesn’t have a beard.

“I have no idea, I don’t know if any of that is real or true or whatever.

“But Conor is not a dumb guy and this is obviously a big fight for him.

“He’s calling it the best comeback in the history of sports and all of that stuff. So we’ll see what happens.”

McGregor recently insisted that he is off of the alcohol during fight camp and although there were photos of him with bottles of his own-brand Proper 12 whiskey in his hands, there is no evidence that he drank any of it.

Some fans assume the worst, but he may have just been enjoying a sober night out with his family.

Only time will tell how committed he has been to his training in the lead-up to his long-awaited return.
