In the last weeks, the league has been plagued with injuries. The Memphis Grizzlies received the most of it, as they lost four of their starting line-up in the last few days. On the other hand, the Phoenix Suns also had enough of their injury woes since the start of the season. The Suns’ big three led by Kevin Durant almost couldn’t play a single game together because of injuries.
Now that they are finally back together after a bumpy ride in this season, the Valley side has yet another injury blow ahead of their Tuesday night game against the Sacramento Kings. Let’s find out more about it in detail.
Kevin Durant & Co. suffer big ahead of Kings clash
After the Big-three – Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal made their team-up count in their last few outing together, the Suns won 7 out of their last 10 outings. They are currently in the 8th seed with a 21-18 record, looking to make the most of their union. However, the latest injury report came in as a hurdle for the side.

7 ‘3 Sudanese baller Bol Bol suffered a right foot sprain, and Damion Lee, who is yet to play a single game this season, will also be out with his right meniscus surgery.
Despite being healthy on the roster, Bol Bol played only 12 games in this with an average of 7 minutes per game. And, even then he has produced great numbers in his shooting percentage. Even after playing very short-duration court, he has 74% FG and is 60% from beyond the arc.

Considering the criticisms of the depth in the roster, any injury could prove to be costly for them.
As the Suns’ big-3 have come to do their business consistently, let’s find out about their journey so far.
The Suns’ big-3 – the journey so far
The hype was heavily built in the off-season, leading up to the debut of the big-3. However, it didn’t happen at the start of the season. The Suns struggled at the start of the season without guards, as both Booker and Beal were out on injury.
Even after D-Book’s return, Beal was still recovering from his back injury. And the management also gave him enough time to heal, considering the long nature of the season, and the Suns’ plans in mind.
Finally, after more than a month, they made their debut in December against the Brooklyn Nets. Even though they couldn’t win the game, they impressed a lot. Three games later, Beal suffered an ankle injury. A few weeks later, Big-3 is back and has found their winning ways.
What do you make of the injury report? Will it truly affect the Suns’ unstoppable run after the Big 3’s return? Let us know in the comments below.
