Jennifer Lawrence goes casual as she takes son Cy out for a walk in NYC… after making a statement at Cannes by wearing flip shoes with her red gown

The actress covered up her long blond hair with a black ball cap, and she wore classic black Adidas trainers.

Jennifer, who shares Cy with her husband Cooke Maroney, wore air pods in her ears as she pushed the stroller her adorable toddler.

Her outing comes after she stunned at Cannes in a red gown with very unusual footwear.

The Silver Linings Playbook actress was at Cannes for the premiere of the film Anatomy of a Fall.

She looked gorgeous in a long red gown featuring an A-line skirt and a long train with a surprising twist — she wore black flip flops.

The unconventional pairing of a high fashion gown and simple flip flops surprised fans but it really shouldn’t have as the Don’t Look Up actress has a history of tripping and falling.

In fact, her Hunger Games costar Liam Hemsworth hilariously said: ‘She’s terrible at walking. I am constantly surprised by how much she falls down without trying at all,’ during a 2015 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The Red Sparrow actress famously tripped and fell at the Oscars in 2013 as she was walking up the steps to accept her Academy Award for Best Actress.

The following year she tripped and fell while walking the red carpet at an event.

Two years later she tripped and lost a shoe as she left a dinner in celebration of her film Silver Linings Playbook in London.

The comfy footwear ensured the No Hard Feelings star wouldn’t face plant at the glamorous event.

In the upcoming film, Jennifer plays Maddie, a bartender and wanna be Uber delivery driver ‘desperate for cash’ who ‘accepts a Craigslist ad from a couple seeking someone to date their painfully awkward teenage son,’ according to the IMDB synopsis.

Maddie helps the teen Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman) unleash his wild side, introducing him to alcohol, partying, making crude jokes and quipping about 𝑠e𝑥 dolls.

The film marks a return to comedy for the Oscar winner, who has been playing more dramatic roles lately.

No Hard Feelings hits theaters on June 23.
