Jennifer Lawrence confesses her ongoing affection for Englishmen while promoting X-Men in London.

She’s previously had high-profile romances with Englishmen Nicholas Hoult and Chris Martin.

So it’s no surprise to hear Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence is still a fan of Brits when it comes to her dating life.

The actress, 25, spoke candidly about her love of English men at the London fan screening of X-Men: Apocalypse on Monday night.

When asked if she was hoping to get ‘lucky’ during her visit to the British capital, Jennifer told The Sun: ‘We are in London. There are still STDs in London. There is still some good sausage.’

However, she admitted she was painfully single since splitting from Coldplay rocker Chris – 13 years her senior – last August.

She lamented: ‘What dating life? I have none.

‘It is really sad? I haven’t had the touch of a man in … erm.’

As well as a her one year on/off romance with father-of-two Chris, Jennifer also famously dated her former X-Men co-star Nicholas for five years.

The Joy star admitted she had recently quit alcohol because she struggled to handle it properly.

She explained: ‘I am such an old lady.

‘I love drinking. But when somebody tries to give me a tequila shot I won’t dance on a table I will just throw up.’

Despite going teetotal, Jennifer did manage to party until 2am at the Tape nightclub in Mayfair with her X-Men co-stars following the fan screening.

Short-lived: The 25-year-old also had a one year on/off romance with divorced father-of-two Chris Martin, frontman of Coldplay

In an interview with Vogue last December, Jennifer spoke about her difficult split from Skins star Nicholas: ‘These (X-Men) movies had been my life for so long and they had to come first in everything.

‘I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years and that was my life. So my life was this person and these movies and we broke up around the same time that I wrapped those movies. Being 24 was this whole year of, “Who am I without these movies? Who am I without this man?”

‘I don’t know if I ever will get married and I’m O.K. with that. I don’t feel that I need anything to complete me. I love meeting people, men, women, whatever, I love people coming into your life and bringing something.’
