Scarlett Johansson’s final Mango campaign raises questions about airbrushing.

Last week her curvaceous figure while out jogging divided opinions.

But whether she had gained some extra pounds, or it was ‘simply the placement of her shirt’ as her spokesman insisted, Scarlett Johansson certainly looked very different from these newly released modelling pictures.

The actress has posed for her final campaign for Spanish clothing giant Mango, and her slender appearance has raised eyebrows and questions over photo-shopping.

Slimline: In Scarlett Johansson’s final campaign for Mango the actress appears slim and slender compared to recent pictures

Scarlett wears a summery colourful vest top and short white skirt in the campaign, showing off plenty of skin.

The 26-year-old’s thighs look decidedly thinner than in the recent shots, while her tiny waist shows no hint of the round stomach she sported.

Earlier this week questions were raised over whether Scarlett’s new Dolce & Gabbana make-up campaign had been airbrushed.

Like the Mango ad, Scarlett’s stomach appears completely flat, compared to in reality.

Different shape: Compared to her sleek and toned appearance in the ad, Scarlett’s figure was decidedly more rounded while out jogging last week

After the unflattering pictures emerged of her working out with boyfriend Sean Penn last week, the Iron Man 2 star was forced to deny pregnancy rumours.

‘Scarlett is not pregnant,’ her spokesman said in a statement . ‘She’s outside running and it’s simply the placement of her shirt that is misleading.

‘She’s been training for The Avengers for over four months and is in the best shape of her life.’

A spokesperson for Mango is yet to comment on whether Miss Johansson has been airbrushed in the new pictures.

Transformation: Scarlett’s picture perfect D&G make-up ad campaign was also called into question this week

Previous campaigns starring the actress have raised remarks over the apparent heavy-handed airbrushing.

Either way, it is Scarlett’s final campaign for the Spanish clothing house.

Kate Moss was recently announced as her replacement, and is currently in Paris working on her first photoshoot with famed photographer Terry Richardson.

The comical campaign will show Kate pretending to rob a bank wearing a mask bearing Richardson’s face.

Chic: The Iron Man 2 star attended an Evening of Cocktails and Shopping to Benefit the Children’s Defense Fund hosted by Coach at Bad Robot in California last night
