The critically acclaimed Sicario franchise is set to continue its gritty exploration of the war on drugs with the highly anticipated Sicario.

Lionsgate has confirmed that the third installment will reunite fans with Emily Blunt as FBI agent Kate Macer, whose moral compass and resilience will once again be tested in a world where the line between right and wrong is blurred beyond recognition. While previous films focused on Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro) and Matt Graver (Josh Brolin), Shadow of the Cartel will shift its narrative focus back to Kate Macer.
