Shinsuke Nakamura vs Andrade
Andrade returns to the ring after the initial attack to leave his rival lying on the corner. The Mexican takes momentum to go on the attack, but Shinsuke Nakamura reacts to intercept his rival halfway. The Japanese drops Andrade heavily against the canvas and then connects a “Knee Drop” after launching himself against the corner. Nakamura removes the protection of a corner, but is a victim of his own misdeed, as Andrade surprises him with a “Drop Kick” to cause a blow against the steel ring. Andrade does not waste time and connects a “Running Double Knees”, but his count remains at two.
«The Idol» climbs into the corner to launch himself with a «Moonsault», and although Shinsuke Nakamura avoids the impact, he can’t do the same with a «Standing Moonsault» ; another two count. It’s a frenetic fight on WWE SmackDown ( January 3, 2025 ). Nakamura reacts to attack the Mexican with a «Back Drop Suplex»… or at least that’s what he thought, because Andrade falls on his feet and then counterattacks with a «Back Elbow»; another cover that doesn’t progress. The actions go dangerously high in the corner… Nakamura escapes from his opponent’s hands to plant Gómez Palacio’s face against the post .
Nakamura returns to the ring in control announcing the end… Shinsuke Nakamura’s “Kinshasa” on Andrade to get the victory in Phoenix! After the match, THE KNIHGT appears. LA Knight attacks the Japanese, but can’t finish the offensive with a “BFT” because Nakamura manages to escape. “The Megastar” is still looking for a rematch for the United States Title, as he believes that Nakamura “stole” the gold from him when he won it at WWE Survivor Series 2024.
