Conor McGregor teases Dana White role in Logan Paul fight as he eyes $100million+ payday and PPV record

Conor McGregor is eyeing up the biggest payday of his career thus far as he edges ever closer to a boxing fight against Logan Paul.

Earlier this week, McGregor revealed that he is in ‘preliminary agreements’ to fight WWE superstar, Logan Paul in the boxing ring.

Following Conor McGregor‘s revelation, Bloody Elbow confirmed with sources that Paul has been approached about the fight and is currently in talks.

The WWE superstar then dropped a cryptic hint that the fight would happen during a WWE kickoff show this past Wednesday, referencing one of McGregor’s most famous quotes.

The shocking news of a potential McGregor vs Paul fight came just days after UFC CEO, Dana White, teased the media at UFC Tampa that he was working on a ‘crazy fight that no one would see coming’ that he was approached about earlier that week.

Initially, fans questioned which fight the UFC boss could be hinting at, and even following McGregor’s announcement, no one put the pieces together, assuming that the potential boxing clash would be outside of the UFC.

Despite that, with the UFC and WWE both being under the TKO banner since their merger in September 2023, talks will have been made much simpler and McGregor has hinted that the fight will happen under TKO’s and White’s involvement.

The UFC boss has always been adamant that he doesn’t do crossover fights and that’s where his relationship with former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou broke down.

The only time it has ever been done with the UFC’s involvement, was when ‘The Notorious’ took on Floyd Mayweather in 2017 in a historic boxing fight.

Conor McGregor reveals he is set for his highest payday ever, surpassing $100m

McGregor’s fight against ‘Money’ Mayweather surpassed 4.3 million PPV buys, with the Irishman reportedly earning over $100m for his 10th-round loss.

Ahead of his potential fight against ‘The Maverick’, McGregor is once again eyeing up a huge payday, claiming he will make the most money he has ever made from fighting.

“TKO Group! UFC vs WWE. There are levels to this, a big sloppy novice is going to find out! TKO KING TITLE! #BiggestGenerator #KingofNumbers #Streams #PPV I hold every record and I am coming back to KO this novice and rack in more numbers for the company. #StockMarketIndia #MyHighestPayPacketYet #Thanksforthecheese,” McGregor stated in a tweet on X.

The former UFC double champion then followed that up with a simple message: “5 TIME WORLD CHAMPION!”

McGregor and Paul will be hoping that their shocking boxing fight which is rumored to be taking place in India, will see the same sort of success that Jake Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson saw, with over 108 million live viewers watching that globally.
