Logan Paul paid homage to one of Conor McGregor’s signature quotes during a recent WWE promo.
Logan Paul’s first public appearance since fight talks with Conor McGregor were revealed featured a nod to the UFC superstar.
Paul, who hasn’t appeared in the boxing ring since a disqualification win over Dillon Danis last year, has been linked to a potential clash with McGregor in recent days. This after McGregor took to X to claim he’s in preliminary talks to face Paul in an upcoming boxing exhibition in India.
While nothing is official, as of this writing, that hasn’t stopped speculation from running rampant regarding a potential Paul vs. McGregor boxing match. McGregor is also still signed to the UFC, making a potential exhibition all the more complicated.
Regardless, Paul seemed to acknowledge that he’s in some talks with McGregor’s team in a recent social media post. He’s also set to return to WWE on January 6th for Monday Night Raw.
While promoting his upcoming WWE return at a media event, Paul dropped a McGregor quote as he addressed fans in attendance.

“If you have something I want, I’m gonna take it…’Logan Paul’s a bully’. Yeah! I am the bully! And the WWE is my playground!” Paul said. “So look, I’m not here to take part, I’m here to take over. Your approval means nothing to me. Whether you love me or hate me, I don’t care, because you’re still watching.”
As of this writing, McGregor hasn’t responded to Paul using one of his signature lines. In addition to his potential boxing return, he’s also set on a comeback to MMA, after his previously scheduled UFC 303 fight was canceled after he suffered a toe injury.
After the Paul vs. McGregor matchup was first teased on social media, way-too-early analysis of how the fight might play out quickly surfaced. A fight simulation had the matchup ending with a one-punch knockout in the first round.
Logan Paul vs. Conor McGregor in 2025?
If McGregor returns to the ring, it’ll be his first boxing appearance since a loss to Boxing Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017 in the infamous ‘money fight’. Since the Mayweather clash, he’s 1-3 inside the UFC Octagon, including losses to Dustin Poirier and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor was a callout target of Logan’s brother, Jake, early on in his boxing career. While McGregor seemed to entertain potentially facing Jake, fight talks never formally materialized, although that could change beginning with the fight with Logan.
