The Rock’s Potential WWE Return Date Revealed

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returned at WWE Bad Blood 2024 after Jimmy Uso helped Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

The Rock came out, counted 1, 2, 3, and had an intense staredown with Cody, Roman, and Jimmy before heading to the back.

Speculation regarding The Rock’s potential participation at WWE WrestleMania 41 intensified to the extent that The Final Boss himself addressed his status for next year’s flagship pay-per-view event, stating, “Don’t believe any of that bull****.”

Since WrestleMania 40, there has been a prevailing expectation that The Rock would face Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. The rumors surrounding this matchup escalated following The Rock’s surprise appearance at WWE Bad Blood 2024.

The premiere episode of WWE RAW on Netflix is scheduled for January 6 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, and The Rock is expected to appear on the show.

During a backstage segment on this week’s episode of RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce was promoting the Netflix debut episode when a WWE production truck featuring The Rock’s face was shown in the background.

WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE showcases these elements on purpose and that The Rock is expected to appear.

WWE has a history of featuring background hints that usually point toward future storylines or returning Superstars.

The report states, “If you watched RAW last night, you want to go back and watch it, or whatever, Adam Pearce is backstage talking about making [Seth] Rollins and [CM] Punk for Netflix. The whole segment was about Netflix. Right over his shoulder is a semi-truck with a big picture of The Rock. They don’t do that type of thing by accident. They never do and they’re not going to start. And that’s what I’ll say about that. There was a purpose for that, and as far as I know, he’s expected to be there, whether that says he’s working WrestleMania or not. That’s a different ball game. I do know on January 6, there are people within the WWE that expect The Rock to be there.”

WWE remains a priority for The Rock, and he is expected to appear sporadically.
