Erik ten Hag dined out with his agent on Sunday just hours after Sir Jim Ratcliffe watched his first match at Old Trafford following his £1.3billion minority takeover of Manchester United.
The British billionaire sat in the stands alongside legendary ex-Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson on Sunday afternoon to watch his new club hold Tottenham to a thrilling 2-2 draw.
The Red Devils twice took the lead through £72million summer signing Rasmus Hojlund and out-of-form forward Marcus Rashford, but Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur netted for the visitors to earn Ange Postecoglou‘s side a share of the spoils.
Ten Hag was seen having dinner with his agent and another friend in Hale Village, Chesire on Sunday just a few hours after the clash at Old Trafford. The trio stayed for approximately two hours at the Italian restaurant.
With Ratcliffe set to take control of football operations at Old Trafford, pressure has mounted on Ten Hag following his disappointing start to the season, with United seventh in the Premier League table and out of all domestic and European competitions excluding the FA Cup.

As revealed by Mail Sport last week, Ratcliffe and sporting director Sir Dave Brailsford issued a rallying cry to United’s management and staff by urging them to work together to restore former glories.
Although Ten Hag has urged that he and Ratcliffe had ‘positive’ talks after his arrival, the Dutchman is effectively on trial at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils boss was seen exiting a black Audi as he arrived at La Famiglia at 9pm. Wearing his signature flat cap, Ten Hag then entered the restaurant to meet with his agent Kees Vos inside.
After just over two hours dining, the Dutch boss was pictured leaving with his two friends.
Despite holding off Tottenham for a well-earned point on Sunday, Ten Hag will be disappointed not to have won the game, with Scott McTominay squandering a glorious opportunity in the dying moments.

It was all smiles at full-time after the thrilling clash ended in a share of the spoils for both clubs.
Ten Hag will now get Manchester United ready for an important FA Cup fourth round clash against Newport County or Eastleigh, with the competition their last chance of winning silverware this season.
The Red Devils then return to Premier League action against Wolves at Molineux, followed by a home match against West Ham and away clash at Champions League hopefuls Aston Villa.
