After nearly five years of ownership, Hollywood legend Robert Redford has decided to sell his charming Marin County home, located in the serene enclave of Tiburon, Northern California. Known for iconic roles in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, All the President’s Men, and The Horse Whisperer, Redford is asking just under $4.2 million for the property, which he and his wife, artist Sibylle Szaggars Redford, purchased in 2020 for $3.1 million.

Why Robert Redford Is Selling
At 88 years old, Robert Redford is shifting his focus to his primary residence in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he and his wife are more involved with her fine art gallery and their nonprofit organization, The Way of the Rain. This organization produces artistic performances to raise awareness about environmental protection and global conservation efforts. The couple also owns homes in California and Utah, where Redford founded the renowned Sundance Film Festival.
