Adam Pearce introduces Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods to kick off the celebration. On stage are all of the valuable items The New Day have accumulated over the past decade. “Being a part of WWE, being a WWE standout for ten years… getting to this point is something we never dreamed of. So I wanted to come out here and thank every single one of you ,” says Xavier Woods . “It’s been quite a ride, huh. I never thought we would accomplish so much, and have fun along the way. But you know who we couldn’t have done it without? We wouldn’t have done it without any of you, so thank you ,” adds Kofi Kingston .

Xavier Woods gets a little serious to say that what they’re about to announce is nobody’s fault, they just have love for the entire WWE Universe. “Woods and I talked, especially because of what happened between us last week. We feel that when it comes to The New Day…” Kofi Kingston said, when BIG E shows up. It looked like Woods & Kingston were about to announce the breakup of The New Day, but E is here with something to say.

Big E: “I wish I was here under different circumstances. Watching you two argue and fight, saying horrible things to each other, it disturbed my soul to the core. When we started this, all we had was each other. Kofi, ten years ago you were considering retirement. Xavier, we were on the verge of being fired. And on one of the worst days of my life, you two were at my hospital bedside making sure I was okay. Kofi, I was in a neck brace for months, your little girl, your wife, was there. Xavier, when you won King of the Ring, I was there as you cried tears on my shoulder.

What we’ve built means a lot, to a lot of people. And if we’re sure this means more to me, then just wait until I get cleared to compete again, I’ll be here to remind you of who you are. I’ll be here week in and week out to serve as your manager.

“New Day Rocks, New Day Rocks, New Day Rocks!” the WWE Universe chants. “Now? Now you wanna come back? After watching us fight for months, now you wanna come back? E, you abandoned us ,” says Xavier Woods . Big E tries to explain that he broke his neck, that’s why he left. “You abandoned us, E! You broke your neck and what? Stone Cold broke his neck and came back. Kurt Angle broke his neck and came back. Edge broke his neck and came back ,” adds Kofi Kingston . And they didn’t even have people waiting for them! Woods tells Big E that it’s his fault they didn’t get to evolve, because they were waiting for him. Kofi remembers that E didn’t even have surgery and couldn’t come back to his side. Xavier remembers how he broke his ankle and came back in nine months for E.

Kofi Kingston reminds him that he didn’t have the courage to come back, choosing his girlfriend and his desk job over The New Day. Also, Xavier says that Big E became a burden; every city they perform in, everyone says they miss E, as if The New Day doesn’t. Kingston feels that Big E broke The New Day’s philosophy of putting the group first over everything else… and Big E chose himself over everyone else .

«Also, E, why don’t you just tell everyone the truth? YOU’LL NEVER GET CLEARED. So, you might as well go back to your desk job and we’ll call you if we need you,» Xavier Woods says.

Big E is speechless and says that they can’t throw away ten years, he wants to fix this situation. Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods don’t say another word, while Big E can’t believe that this is over. Big E has no choice but to leave the ring. Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods shake hands, now it’s just them! Big E looks at the scene from the entrance ramp and the story of The New Day, a trio that won everything in WWE, has come to an end.
