Prince Harry has not celebrated Christmas in the UK since 2018, however this could soon change.

It is unlikely that Harry and Meghan will spend the big day in the UK after the couple famously stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and moved stateside.

However the Duke of Sus𝑠e𝑥 will be spreading some Christmas cheer with a UK charity this year.

The estranged royal is set to dial in from his home in Montecito, California to participate in a Christmas party with Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity supporting bereaved military children.

In the upcoming weeks Harry will speak with families and children from the charity, he has been their global ambassador since it was established in 2010 by Army widow Nikki Scott.

In 2022 he surprised youngsters by dressing up as Spider-Man to record a special video message for their 2022 Christmas party.

Despite being 5,000 miles away from the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day Harry still let his presence be felt on such a poignant day by sending bags of sweets to Scotty’s Little Soldier.

Scotty’s is dedicated to supporting children and young people, 0 to 25 years, who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.

The last time the father of two spent Christmas in the UK was in 2018 when Meghan was pregnant with Prince Archie.

Former BBC royal correspondent, Jennie Bond, thinks the couple will stay put in Montecito this Christmas along with their two children, Prince Arche and Princess Lilibet and also a very special guest, Meghan’s mum – Doria Ragland.

Jennie told OK! Magazine: “I think most women like to be with their mums on Christmas Day. Given that Doria does not seem to have any other family she wants to share the festivities with, I think it’s a fair bet that Meghan will want to be with her and that would mean them all being in California.”
