Paul Pogba has not had a good time since leaving Manchester United for the second time.
The French midfielder was an Academy product at Old Trafford, who became one of the club’s greatest-ever players produced. That’s why it was baffling he was let go on a free to Juventus at such a young age.
As everyone knows, he returned to the Red Devils for a whopping fee, but it never really worked out at Manchester United for him.
He subsequently left on a free again – departing to Juventus for a second time in 2022. Things haven’t gone to plan since and may get a whole lot worse.
Paul Pogba could face a four-year ban
According to Italian source GIFN – Pogba could be facing a four-year ban from football. They suggested that the anti-doping prosecutor has asked for a four-year ban on the 30-year-old.
Now it appears the sentencing is known – a whopping four years, which could mean he never plays again at a high level.
Paul Pogba may be done
Having only celebrated his 30th birthday in March, Pogba really should be at the peak of his career.
Instead, he is a injury-ridden, nuisance to the Juve setup. They must regret signing him back.
“It’s sad to see Pogba in this situation,” former France goalkeeper Sebastien Frey sighs, speaking to Calciomercato. “Just when he was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
“In the case of doping, Juventus has the right to request compensation for damages, like with their sponsors. This story could take everything away from (Pogba).
“Unfortunately, it could be his end.” This statement has never rung more true. A bleak time for Pogba.
