Meghan Markle made a very relatable confession during her latest solo appearance in LA.
The Duchess of Sus𝑠e𝑥 attended the launch of a new haircare line by the brand Highbrow Hippie on Friday.
Highbrow Hippie is a brand which the duchess has invested in and is co-founded by her friend and hair colourist, Kadi Lee.
And during the glitzy event, the duchess revealed that she had to resort to using box hair dye during the Covid-19 pandemic, like many women around the world, to keep her locks looking fresh.
Meghan said after Ms Lee’s speech: “I was using boxed dye when I met her!”, which reportedly sparked laughter in the room, according to People.
Elsewhere, the duchess opened up about her investment in the company, telling Instyle: “I am so proud to invest in [Kadi] as a friend and as a female founder.
“Kadi has a mastery of hair health, and her Highbrow Hippie collection is a perfect reflection of that.”
At the event, Meghan appeared to be in a “joyful mood” according to a source.
They told People: “She was dancing and celebrating with her friends.”
For her outfit, Meghan opted for a black wool strapless top by Khaite (£660) which featured a sweetheart neckline, a pair of black wool-blend trousers by the same brand (£1,310) and her black Talk To Me 105 heeled sandals by Aquazurra (£635).
She wore a pair of gold stud earrings, her wedding ring stack, her Lorraine Schwartz emerald cut diamond pinky ring.
The duchess also sported a new gold pendant necklace with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s names on it by Logan Hollowell, her beloved gold Tank Française watch by Cartier (£28,200) and the same brand’s yellow gold Love bracelet (£7,050).
