In the clip, Kardashian, 44, asked the Tesla bot, “Can you do this? I love you?” as she makes one half of a hand heart. When the robot completes it, she gasps, adding, “You know how to do that?”
In a separate clip shared to her Instagram Stories, the American Horror Story actress taught the robot how to blow a kiss and won a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
“You’re so cute!” she exclaimed, when the Tesla machine blew her a kiss. The robot can also be seen mimicking running, waving, and doing the “Raise the Roof” dance.
Production of the Tesla Gen 2 humanoid robot, also known as Optimus, will be in full swing by 2026, according to CEO Elon Musk, though Tesla may be using them internally as early as next year. Once available, Tesla bot’s may cost between $20,000 to $30,000.
In later clips on her Instagram Stories, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum shows off a second Tesla robot in gold, as well as a gold Tesla Cybercab, which has yet to hit the market. It’s unclear if any of the Tesla products are personal purchases or if Kardashian, who owns a Tesla Cybertruck, was just given the opportunity to test them out.
Earlier this year, Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner gifted her youngest son, Psalm, a toy Cybertruck for his fifth birthday.
“Now you match mommy, huh?” the mother of four said in a video shared to her May 9 Instagram Stories.
“I’m gonna drive this to school!” Psalm said excitedly in the same clip.
“You can’t drive this to school,” Kardashian responded while laughing. “Get in it, let me see.”
“Thank you mom! @krisjenner for the coolest gift for Psalm for his birthday,” she later wrote over the video. “Baby Cyber truck.”
