Since The Shield’s breakup in 2014, both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have had a rocky relationship. They have been rivals for years and had a brief reunion before Reigns had to leave because of leukemia.

Both superstars have fought over being the top guy for years and their rivalry seemingly got worse as the years went by. The Visionary was one of the main ‘architects’ who helped stop Roman’s Reign at WrestleMania XL.

While they have been rivals for years, The OTC needs Seth Rollins, not just as a teammate but also as a brother, who could help him make peace with his past.

Reuniting with Rollins will help Reigns complete his redemption arc

Roman Reigns returned this year at SummerSlam as a babyface after a hiatus following WrestleMania. While he has changed, people’s feelings towards him have not changed. There are still superstars who are angry with him, including his own family.

Jey Uso and Sami Zayn may still hold old grudges against him, but they are ready to keep them aside to battle by his side against the new Bloodline. To complete his redemption journey, the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion needs to make peace and unite with The Architect. The only person who has been able to tame Bronson Reed in recent history is Seth Rollins. Hence, Roman Reigns needs his Shield brother by his side at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Over the past few weeks, Rollins and Reed have had a series of wild brawls. While The Revolutionary may have come out on top in those brawls, he wasn’t able to put away The Auszilla. Hence, Seth and Roman need each other, to stand as Shield brothers side by side, to take on Reed and Bloodline 2.0.
