Fans are aware of Cruise’s propensity for performing breathtaking feats, particularly because of her tenure in the Mission: Impossible franchise. In the latest episode of the spy thriller film series, Dead Reckoning, Cruise was put through a lot, including a fast-paced speed-flying stunt and a large battle scene atop a moving train. In addition, despite Dead Reckoning, one of the most highly regarded Mission: Impossible movies, being a box office failure due to fierce competition from Barbie and Oppenheimer, he rode his motorcycle off a cliff.

The 62-year-old Cruise has been in the U.K. filming Mission: Impossible 8, which restarted shooting earlier this year after delays caused by last year’s WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Set images from the upcoming Paramount sequel see Cruise risking it all again, including a driving sequence in a beaten-up vehicle. Cruise stars in Mission: Impossible 8 alongside Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Hannah Waddingham, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff and Esai Morales.
