Steelers’ Russell Wilson Sets ‘Husband Goals’ With Emotional Birthday Tribute to Wife Ciara.

As Russell Wilson defied all critics and led the Steelers to their fifth win of the season. He couldn’t have done so without the support of his teammates and family. While Steelers Nation witnessed the nine-time Pro Bowler shred the Jets’ defense into half, he announced his arrival this season from a calf injury that kept him out till week 6.

Although this week kicked off a new chapter of Russ’ NFL legacy, it was made more memorable as he celebrated his wife Ciara’s 39th birthday. Taking to Instagram, Wilson posted a heartfelt message that read, “Happy Birthday my Queen! @Ciara I love you so much. Your heart and strength inspire everyone around you. You are the best mom, wife, best friend, and hardest worker! You are the best performer and dancer in the world! Keep Dancing! Keep shining! Daddy loves you! Every day with you is a blessing and I can’t wait to see the beautiful moments God has in store this year for you and our babies! As Russ shared an emotional birthday tribute to his Queen Ciara, he finished it by reiterating his love for Mrs Wilson, “I love you to Heaven & back Mrs. Wilson!! ❤️”

Well, the video that Russ added to his post had a compilation of him and Ciara enjoying cherishable moments together. It had moments from the vacations they had taken to cute cameos from their kids, Amora, Win, Sienna, and Future Zahir. There was also a clip that had Ciara blowing candles from an apparent doughnut cake. While the couple would surely make their day, a memorable one for years to come. The fans were quick to congratulate Ciara and Russ for the bond they share.

One of them praised the couple for their relationship goals, “Wow, what a great couple .. just beautiful, and they have there priorities straight .. Godspeed with continued Blessings ❤️❤️” While others chimed in to congratulate them for the love they hold for each other, “Happy Birthday Queen Ciara! Yall loving each other like this gives the world hope. 💜💜” As people congratulated the couple for their special day, one of them expressed her goals to have a husband like Russ, “THAT MAN THAT MAN❤️❤️❤️❤️ Happy Birthday @ciara I pray for the love your husband shows you for myself…such a beautiful feeling huh😁”

While the Wilson family celebrates their Queen’s birthday, Ciara also did her part by wishing Russell Wilson a few days back.

Ciara and the kids celebrate Russell Wilson’s Steelers debut vs Jets

Coming back from a calf injury that kept him out until six weeks of NFL action. Most fans thought Russell Wilson would be a shadow of his former self, given the opportunity to start ahead of Justin Fields. There was even a moment in the second quarter when the whole stadium chanted, JUSTIN. FIELDS. JUSTIN. FIELDS. However, it didn’t tether Russ, who had his eyes on the end zone as he combined for 31 unanswered points to help the Steelers seal 2nd place in the AFC North after seven weeks.

As Wilson finished with 264 yards and 3 TDs, his zero turnovers in Pittsburgh may have cemented his place at the center. Although many people congratulated Wilson for his debut, his wife took to Instagram to share her special message. She posted a picture of her and their kids all wearing black and gold Steelers kit with the caption, “Victory Monday! Go Daddy @DangeRussWilson! Go @Steelers.” With the whole family rocking Wilson’s No.3 in Pittsburgh, it showed that he had everyone rooting for him on Sunday Night.

And Wilson did deliver as he expressed, “I felt like it was playoff baseball. Started off 0-for-2 but felt like I was going to get hot. The guys did a tremendous job up front giving me enough time to make throws, guys made plays down the field and everything else.” Although Russ pointed out that his team’s support allowed him to lead the game, he did show shades of his Seattle days on Sunday.

With the whole family celebrating each other’s milestones this week, we hope they continue to prosper all season long. As the Russ, who won nine Pro Bowls and one Super Bowl, could be leading the Steelers to a playoff spot this season.
