An eyewitness to the chaotic UFC 229 post-fight brawl has voiced concerns about Conor McGregor’s rumored involvement in a future PFL fight. The witness recalls the violent aftermath of McGregor’s loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor submitted to Nurmagomedov’s choke in the fourth round of their 2018 bout, only for chaos to erupt as ‘The Eagle’ leaped into the crowd to confront McGregor’s team. The incident, marred by brawls inside and outside the octagon, saw Irish and Dagestani fans clashing violently.

Now, with rumors circulating about McGregor supporting Irish fighter Paul Hughes in a potential bout against Khabib’s cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov, fears of a repeat of UFC 229’s chaos loom. A witness of the infamous event stated:
“I was in the T-Mobile arena for Khabib-McGregor. The Dagestani fans beat the absolute piss out of the Irish fans. The security would be for our safety.”
