Meghan Markle has been praised by a make-up artist over her “Californian girl-next-door” transformation.

The Duchess of Sus𝑠e𝑥, 43, has evolved her fashion sense and make-up from her early days as a Hollywood actress to when she was working as a senior member of the Royal Family.

But it looks like after quitting the Firm in 2020 and moving back to the US, the Duchess has finally settled on her own style and make-up, achieving her signature look, according to beauty expert Margherita Lascala.

The Sus𝑠e𝑥es now reside in Montecito along with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, which is in California, the same state as Los Angeles, where the Duchess was born and raised.

The make-up artist at Beam claimed that Meghan has now fully embraced her natural features as she detailed her make-up routine.

Ms Lascala told GB News: “In the past, Meghan has spoken with pride about her freckles.

“Rather than using a product such as a foundation that would cover them up, she is rumoured to be a fan of a skin tint (The Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint is the go-to for makeup artists!) and tinted moisturisers (Laura Mercier’s one has a cult following!)

“The best way to apply these products is to use a round brush as this will deposit the product in the most natural way.”

She added: “I suspect that Meghan enhances her freckles by dotting them with a brow pencil lightly as this will give the Californian girl-next-door look that she loves to emulate.”

The expert added that the Duchess likely uses concealer to brighten the area under her eyes and just a “light finishing powder on T-Zone”.

She continued: “To enhance radiance, the highlighter balm from Pat Mcgrath Labs would be a great choice as this will add radiance to her face.”
