Movies have been very kind to Sylvester Stallone, judging by the wad of cash he was carrying on Wednesday.
The 69-year-old action star had just finished lunch when he was spotted exiting The Palm restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.
Counting out bills for a valet, Sly had his hands full of money as he headed to his car.
Big spender: Sylvester Stallone revealed a large wad of cash after eating lunch in Beverly Hills on Wednesday
Salt-and-pepper hair cut short and skin still sporting a tan from his summer holiday to St. Tropez, France with his family, Sylvester seemed relaxed after his meal.
He had an upscale-casual look for the lunch with a black-and-white-checked button-down shirt with short sleeves.
The lower hem of that shirt was tucked into grey trousers and held in place by a black belt with a fancy silver buckle.
For the tip: Since most of the bills were of small denominations, Sly was likely just planning to tip the valet

Shiny black shoes completed the Rambo star’s clothing, while he accessorized with reflective sunglasses and a pair of gold rings.
As for the money, most of it seemed to be small bills that would be appropriate for a tip.
An actor, director, and writer of films, Sylvester has apparently been taking a well-earned break after wrapping production on his latest movie, Creed.

This newest Rocky sequel stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, son of the legendary Apollo Creed, alongside Sylvester as Rocky Balboa.
In the trailer, Sly imparts life lessons to the young fighter through boxing techniques, a signature theme of all the Rocky films.
Michael had nothing but praise for his co-star when he told Empire in May: ‘We were constantly working together to make scenes better. He’s got a crazy work ethic, crazy energy.’
Time off: The actor has been taking some time for relaxing after completing production on his latest Rocky movie, Creed
More recently, Sylvester has been spending time with his friend – and occasional movie-star rival – Arnold Schwarzenegger, 68.
The two superstars have been enjoying lunches almost weekly at Cafe Roma in Beverly Hills.
Despite such lunches, there has been no word about whether they might team up again for a fourth Expendables movie.
