The two-story residence on Yarmouth Road, painted a charming violet with a turquoise front door and an A-frame roof, boasts a welcoming front porch and a driveway leading to a two-car garage. Inside, you’ll find three bedrooms, an eat-in chef’s kitchen, and a renovated basement. The landscaped yard features a spacious deck ideal for entertaining friends and family.
The yard includes an ample deck for gathering with friends and family.
The Duchess of Sus𝑠e𝑥, a former actress, lived in a rented two-story home in Seaton Village with her two dogs until 2017, while filming the show and dating Prince Harry, who frequently visited Toronto discreetly. Harry recounted his first visit to the Toronto house in his autobiography, “Spare.”
“Meghan was thrilled to show me her life, her dogs, and her beloved little house,” he wrote.
Prince Harry described visiting the Toronto house, saying that Meghan Markle “adored it.”
According to “Finding Freedom,” a 2020 biography about the couple that Meghan Markle contributed to, the pair was in Toronto when they learned that the press had discovered their relationship. The news surprised them, and they had to react swiftly, as detailed in the book.

“There were only a few paparazzi in Toronto at the time, but it wasn’t long before photographers from New York and L.A. began arriving, all eager to capture the first photo of the happy couple.”
Markle lived in the Toronto house until their engagement was announced in November 2017. She then relocated to her new, luxurious residence at Kensington Palace in London.
Other homes in the Seaton Village area of Toronto are asking between $1 million and $3 million.
The Toronto property was put up for sale less than a month later for C$1.395 million and sold quickly. The open house attracted many royal enthusiasts as well as serious buyers, according to the agent at the time, as reported by the Toronto Star. “I don’t think we’ll see a ‘princess premium,’” said Alex Beauregard, the agent. “Would you pay an extra C$20,000 just because the prince used this bathroom?”
The two-story home has been renovated since it was purchased by the sellers in 2018.
Earlier this week, the owners listed the home with Daniel Freeman of Freeman Realty. Freeman did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and the owners were unavailable for comment. The listing was first reported by the Canadian press.
The interior includes three bedrooms, an eat-in chef’s kitchen, and a renovated basement.
Situated on a peaceful street in Toronto’s Seaton Village, close to the Annex, the home is not far from the Bay Adelaide Center in downtown Toronto, which represented the fictional law firm in “Suits” where Meghan Markle’s character, Rachel Zane, worked as a paralegal.
The house is painted violet with a “Tiffany blue” door.
Homes in the area are typically priced between $2 million and $3 million, making this property relatively affordable. Additionally, the garage can be converted into a 1,330-square-foot guest suite, according to the listing.
