Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello List Beverly Hills Home for $19.6 Million

A gated Beverly Hills, California, mansion owned by celebrity couple Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello came on the market Wednesday asking $19.6 million.

The “Modern Family” actress and “Magic Mike” actor purchased the Tuscan-style property for $10.6 million in 2014, according to records. In June 2020, the pair purchased a $26 million Beverly Park mansion previously owned by baseball legend Barry Bonds, the Los Angeles Times reported at the time.

At more than 11,000 square feet, the seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom spread sits on just over half an acre, with outdoor space that includes a landscaped backyard with a pool and spa as well as outdoor seating and a barbecue area, per the listing. (Barry Peele of Sotheby’s International Realty – Beverly Hills Brokerage has the listing, and was not immediately available for comment.)

The home’s main entrance is framed by high ceilings and a dramatic spiral staircase, and floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors are featured throughout the main floor’s living and entertaining spaces. In addition to multiple living and entertaining areas and a formal dining room, a bar and lounge area is located on a lower level, photos show.

Built in 2006, the listing notes that the property has been remodeled with a new chef’s kitchen, and boasts other amenities such as a “full size” gym, a spacious home theater and a wine room. The property is owned by a trust tied to a business manager Craig Tessler, according to records on PropertyShark.

The couple, who met at the White House Correspondents dinner, became engaged six months after they began dating in 2014, and were married in November 2015, Vogue reported at the time.

Representatives for Ms. Vergara, 50, and Mr. Manganiello, 45, did not immediately respond to requests for comment for this story.
