Full House creator Jeff Franklin has put his massive Beverly Hills mansion on the market for a whopping $85 million.
The 66-year-old filmmaker and screenwriter’s plans for a big move were shared by real estate sources with TMZ on Wednesday.
The property has a gruesome history, as the mansion was built on the site where Sharon Tate and four friends were brutally murdered by followers of Charles Manson in 1969.

Franklin also opened up his home recently for a reception for family members of the late comedian Bob Saget, who died on January 9 at 65 while in Orlando, Florida, in the midst of a standup tour.
Saget starred as patriarch Danny Tanner on Franklin’s series Full House and its Netflix continuation Fuller House, and he was also a respected standup comedian known for his edgy routines.
The new owners of the mansion — which is located near Benedict Canyon — could easily get lost amid its 21,000 square feet, and the home boasts nine bedrooms and 18 bathrooms.
The home is tucked away on close to 3.6 acres, and the listing is being handled by Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Altman and his brother Matthew Altman for Douglas Elliman.
Its position high in the hills gives the Cielo Drive property ‘jetliner’ views of surrounding Los Angeles.

It took millions of dollars more and several years to complete the home, and the television fixture wasn’t able to move in until 2007, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Franklin seemed uninterested in the properties history as the site of the Manson murders, calling them ‘irrelevant’ and ‘ancient history’.

The Manson family was a cult led by criminal mastermind Charles Manson that was based California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The group included roughly 100 followers at its largest, and lived a hippie, communal lifestyle with regular use of hallucinogenic drugs, particularly LSD.
The ‘family’ mostly consisted of young, impressionable women, as well as some men, who were radicalized by Manson and began to carry out a string of crimes, including thefts, arson and murders.
The suspects told police they had killed Tate and her friends not because of who they were, but because of the home they were in, which had belonged to a previous acquaintance of Manson.
A subsequent owner of the property had the house where the murders took place demolished in the 1990s, and Franklin’s home was later built atop it.
