Jennifer Lawrence, who debuted with brown hair, is makeup-free and wearing sweatpants on the set of her next movie in next Orleans

She’s fresh off of an acting hiatus.

Jennifer Lawrence was au naturale on the set of her new film in New Orleans on Thursday, July 4th.

The 28-year-old didn’t take a holiday to celebrate American Independence Day this year and instead was spotted in costume for new starring role.

In her return to the screen after a year-long sabbatical, Jennifer is working with acclaimed heater director Lila Neugebauer on a still untitled project.

The bride-to-be was seen with a bare face and air-dried brunette tresses on set. Earlier this week she debuted the darkened locks which were dyed for the role.

Jennifer was dressed comfortably in a pair of black joggers and a grey scoop neck T-shirt paired with fuzzy terracotta colored slides.

She appeared to have skipped her bra, opting for for comfort.

She was seen trotting between trailers that were set up at the filming location carrying a purse and some papers.

This is the second day this week that the Oscar winner had been back on set after taking time off donate her time in the political realm.

The plot is under wraps but it is said to be a military drama and the script was written by first-time screenwriter Elizabeth Sanders.

So far very little casting has been announced but it will co-star Tyree Henry and Linda Emond.

Jennifer’s last big movie was Red Sparrow in 2018. Before that she had two box-office disappointments: Mother! and Passengers.

Lawrence’s most exciting project has yet to be filmed: She will play Elizabeth Holmes in Bad Blood.

Holmes created a bio-tech company Theranos that skyrocketed her to fame with an estimated value in the billions.

When federal agencies begin investigating the company, her integrity is called into doubt.

Theranos founder Holmes and former Theranos president Sunny Balwani have been charged with nine counts of wire fraud and two counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
