The SoCal wedding pad of J. Lo and Chris Judd is up for sale for $7.2 million.

More than twenty years have passed since Jennifer Lopez first got to know Cris Judd while working on the set of her Love Don’t Cost a Thing music video. The couple later were married in front of 170 guests in a “secret” wedding that took place at a private home in the Calabasas, California, suburb of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the multihyphenate entertainer filed for divorce alleging irreconcilable differences, bringing the marriage to an abrupt stop. Still standing, meanwhile, is the huge French chateau-inspired estate that served as the venue for the wedding. It was recently listed for $7.25 million.

Situated on more than 10 acres in the upscale Cold Creek Estates community, the four-story building was purposefully constructed in the late 1990s and has expansive views of the surrounding canyons and mountains. It is accessible through a double-gated driveway and a motorcourt. A little over 11,000 square feet of multi-level living space with six bedrooms and eleven bathrooms, hand-distressed white oak floors, high wood-beam ceilings, and French-imported fixtures are found within.

An expansive entry foyer displaying an ornate chandelier and a curving floating staircase segues via a hallway into a glass-walled conservatory overlooking the gardens, with additional amenities including a subterranean wine cellar and tasting room, a media/poker room, a sauna-equipped gym, and a rooftop observatory, plus a one-bedroom guest cottage and a four-car garage.

Among the other highlights are a fireside living room and a formal dining room, as well as a handsome library and a family room with a bar. There’s also a gourmet kitchen decked out with marble countertops, an eat-in island, top-tier La Cornue and Sub-Zero appliances, and a separate breakfast room. An adjoining den has a stone fireplace and a wall of built-in bookshelves, while a sumptuous upstairs primary suite is adorned with not one but three fireplaces, a seating area, a private balcony, two walk-in closets, and a luxe bath flaunting dual vanities and a spa tub.

The gorgeous park-like grounds, dotted with gardens and winding paths, are not to be missed. They feature an infinity-edge pool fed by a waterfall next to an outdoor pavilion with a fireplace and barbecue station, a greenhouse, a koi pond, a vine-covered gazebo, and a citrus orchard.

The word that Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck this month after just over two years of marriage follows the listing, which is owned by Jeff Biebuyck and Dana Olmes with the Frontgate Team at Compass. The couple is selling their marital house in Beverly Hills for $68 million, but they are both moving on to different homes. Affleck paid $20.5 million for an equestrian property in Brentwood designed by Cliff May, while Lopez—who ultimately sold her Manhattan penthouse for $23 million after it had been listed for sale since 2017—has been photographed at her $10 million Hamptons estate and is reportedly looking for a new residence in Los Angeles.
