Kelly Bensimon re-locates into the renowned NYC building following her nuptial cancellation: “I want to proceed.”

Commissioner Kelly has returned!

The renowned Police Building in central Manhattan, where Kelly Bensimon once resided as its de facto commissioner, is now her new address as the reality star-turned-real estate expert wants to move on.

When the former “Real Housewives of New York City” star got engaged to businessman Scott Litner last summer, she rented out her apartment in the iconic building for a tidy $28,500.

Page Six has learnt that she is back at her previous address to begin a fresh chapter after abruptly calling off the wedding weeks ago.

Her previous property, a 3,600 square foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment, is still rented, so she moved into another apartment, she verified exclusively to Page Six.

“I’m excited about my new chapter,” Kelly joked.

Days before the stunning 56-year-old Bensimon was about to tie the knot, Litner’s refusal to sign their pre-nup made it “clear” to her that it wouldn’t work.

“He thought that I would enter this union without legal protections in place, that I would leave everything to faith,” the Bravo alum told Entertainment Tonight. “But I’ve worked really, really hard as a single mother and have always made smart decisions for myself and my family, and that will continue.”

Bensimon was previously married to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon for 10 years, and has two grown daughters. She got engaged to Litner last summer after a year of dating.

She says there’s no animosity between the pair — and they’ve parted ways amicably.

Now that she’s happily returned to her previous location, Bensimon has lived in the Police Building for a long time. She also goes by the nickname “unofficial commissioner” at 240 Centre St., which was built in 1909 and housed the NYPD headquarters until 1973.

Bensimon, a real estate expert with Douglas Elliman with a three-state license, has been a resident of the building and a prominent broker.

When she first moved into the historic building, it was home to fashion icons Calvin Klein and Cindy Crawford, as well as other favorites of the fashion industry including Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, makeup artist Francois Nars, and Cindy Crawford.

Bensimon recently closed a Hamptons sale for $11 million, and has a currently has a Malibu, Calif., listing for $13.4 million among other luxury offerings.

Unlike some reality stars who sell properties as a side hustle, Bensimon says, “I’ve had a love story with real estate…. I really care about finding people homes.”

She says that before she was a broker, “I built homes before. I bought and sold and rented.”

She said of calling off her wedding, “It was the right thing for me, the right decision for me and my family.”

Today, “I want to move forward and create an amazing life.”
