Fans were outraged on Sunday when their Queen Bee’s Homecoming documentary didn’t win any of the six Creative Arts Emmys that it was nominated for.

But in happier news for her fans, Beyonce has released a new preview for her upcoming documentary, Beyonce Presents: Making The Gift, which takes viewers behind-the-scenes of the creative process behind the album, The Lion King: The Gift.

The 38-year-old shared a clip on social media on Monday which she was seen performing some opera while recording the album.

‘So I hear some opera in the background. Could you bring me back to the first verse?’ she said to a producer.

The singer told GMA’s Robin Roberts back in July as part of The Lion King: Can You Feel The Love Tonight special that she wanted the 14-track album to be an ode to Africa.

Going by feel: Beyonce progressed to belt out the incredibly difficult style with no direction or help along the way

‘I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa,’ the said, adding that a lot of the production consisted of a lot of drums, and ‘incredible new sounds, mixed with some of the producers from America.’

‘We’ve kind of created our own genre and I feel like the soundtrack is the first soundtrack where it becomes visual in your mind,’ she continued.

‘The soundscape is more than just the music because each song tells the story of the film.’

The 23-time Grammy award winner was the writer and executive producer of the album while also producing and directing the behind-the-scenes special.

Beyonce Presents: Making The Gift will air tonight 10 ET on ABC.

Her latest behind-the-scenes documentary comes after fans were left outraged on Sunday evening when the mom-of-three was completely snubbed at the Creative Arts Emmys.

The 38-year-old artist was nominated for six Creative Arts Emmys, losing in all categories – including one against James Corden for his Carpool Karaoke.

The categories were: Directing (winner: Springsteen on Broadway), Costumes (winner: RuPaul’s Drag Race), Production Design (winner: Rent), Music Direction (winner: Fosse/Verdon), Outstanding Variety Special (winner: Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool) and Writing (winner: Hannah Gadsby for Nanette).

Fans took to Twitter to vent their frustrations, with many focusing on James Corden’s win over hers for Outstanding Variety Special.

Her cameraman for Homecoming took to Twitter about the snub: @BenRealVsWorld wrote: ‘I held a heavy a** camera and walked backwards keeping these three legends in frame while dave held a carabiner on my pants to guide me…’
