Margot Robbie was forced to improvise a face mask by using a skull bandana as she visited a grocery store in Los Angeles on Thursday during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Birds of Prey actress, 29, headed to a nearby supermarket wearing a stylish casual ensemble, consisting of a black T-shirt tucked into a pair of ankle length jeans.

She teamed her look with a black boots and a Chanel backpack for a touch of designer glam, and had her blonde tresses in two braids.

The Australian-born beauty hid her makeup free visage under a pair of black sunglasses and the bandana-turned-makeshift face mask.

She was seen looking for a store which had a shorter queue at the checkout so she could practise self-distancing.

But it seems the line at the supermarket she visited was too long for the former Neighbours star, so she turned back into her car in search for another shop.

Margot’s outing comes amid claims she could play Joe ‘Exotic’ Schreibvogel in an upcoming mini-series adaptation of Netflix’s Tiger King documentary.

On Tuesday, Robert Moor, who hosts the Joe Exotic: Tiger King podcast that the mini-series is based on, told Andy Cohen’s Radio Andy Sirius XM program, that Margot would be a perfect fit.

‘My preferred casting, and this is a bit off the wall, would be Margot Robbie,’ he said, adding: ‘I think Margot Robbie should play Joe in like a gender-switched role.’

Netflix’s seven-episode Tiger King documentary series launched on March 20, and has quickly become a hot topic of conversation on social media.

The series centres on the eccentric Joe Exotic, described as a, ‘mulleted, gun-toting polygamist and country western singer who presides over an Oklahoma roadside zoo.’
