Prince Harry Criticized for ‘Using’ Archie and Lilibet as ‘Bargaining Chips’ in Royal Feud

Prince Harry was severely criticised for “using” his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as a “bargaining chip” in his ongoing feud with the Royal Family.

The Duke of Sus𝑠e𝑥 has been estranged from the Firm ever since he quit his duties and moved across the pond with wife Meghan Markle back in 2020.

Following a series of bombshell claims in his explosive memoir, Spare, released January 2023, the Sus𝑠e𝑥es lost their UK base after they were evicted from Frogmore Cottage and have very rarely stepped foot in the country, with their latest joint appearance taking place in 2022 for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

As a result, King Charles has not spent a lot of time, if any, with his grandchildren across the pond and now a royal commentator claimed that the monarch is “furious” with his younger son as he believes that “access to the children is being used as a bargaining chip” which he finds “unforgivable”.

Royal author Tom Quinn told the Mirror: “Charles believes Harry should let bygones be bygones for the sake of Archie and Lilibet, but he senses that access to the children is being used as a bargaining chip and that, in Charles’ view, is unforgivable.”

He added: “Despite Harry’s attacks on the royal family his father has avoided responding by attacking his son publicly, but privately, King Charles is furious.

“So much so that he is now refusing to take calls from his son.”

The last time Charles saw Archie and Lilibet was in 2022.

Meanwhile, Harry only saw his father once this year, back in February, when he dashed back home following the monarch’s shock cancer diagnosis.

Father and son had a brief chat for less than an hour and they did not meet in May when Harry returned for an Invictus Games event in London.

The duke recently appeared in a new documentary on ITV and opened up on his reluctance to bring his family to the UK due to security concerns.

Harry said: “All it takes is for one lone actor who reads this stuff to act on what they’ve read. And whether it’s a knife or acid, these are things that are genuine concerns for me. It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country.”
