But actress Scarlett Johansson, 29, who is expecting her first child with fiance Romain Dauriac in few months, has revealed that she’s happy to become older and not always be considered the Hollywood š eš„ symbol.
The Avenger’s star toldĀ The Weekend AustralianĀ that she doesn’t feel the need to be ‘stuck in that’ role forever.

Speaking about getting older the actress who now lives in Paris, said: ‘I don’t want to be the ingenue any more.
‘That part I’m happy about. It’s nice to be glamorous, but I don’t want to always have to be trendy and glamorous and an object of desire.
I don’t want to be stuck in that forever. Because it doesn’t last.’

Indeed Scarlett, who has been tight-lipped about her first pregnancy and upcoming nuptials, seems more interested in turning her attentions to having a good work life balance when she gives birth.
‘I want to be able to have it all. Selfishly,’ she said adding that she doesn’t believe men face the same pressures as working mother’s.
‘With [male actors] it just doesn’t happen the same way.

‘You can be every woman’s fantasy and nobody thinks twice about the fact that you have eight kids or whatever.’
Heavily pregnant Scarlett, who was photographed recently holding onto Romain’s arm at a wedding in England earlier this month, was previously married to Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2010.
In her latest Johnathan Glazer’s indie flick Under The Skin, which opens on May 30, she plays an extraterrestrial roaming Glasgow.
