Sylvester Stallone is widely considered the hard man with a heart of gold.
But the lovable heartthrob couldn’t seem to raise a smile when he was stopped for a picture with delighted female fans on Friday.
Delivering more of a disgruntled pout than a megawatt smile, the 69-year-old looked less than impressed as he tried to make an exit by car in the rain.
Give us a smile Sly? Sylvester Stallone looked less than impressed when he was asked for pictures in the rain on Friday
Sly was perhaps a little disappointed to have been caught in the rain, wearing a particularly smart pair of blue suede shoes.
He didn’t have an umbrella with him while shopping, unlike the two women behind him who seemed to pursue him on the high street.
Sylvester was cutting a casual figure in a white bomber jacket, under which he appeared to go shirtless.
Just a little smile: He screwed up his face when two women approached him for a picture on the street
A hit with the ladies: The hunk seemed to court their attention, despite trying to make a quick getaway
Giggles: The admirers were taken aback by the celebrity sighting and went all giggly
Excitable: The women were keeping shelter beneath a large umbrella in the rain
Looking relaxed, the Rocky actor wore his hands in the pockets of his black jeans and showed off a particularly bright tan to offset his white jacket.
He’d been shopping at Kevin Murphy and walked away with a small bag in hand, as well as a refreshing bottle of water.
Though flying solo this time, Sylvester recently enjoyed a lunch with Dolph Lundgren, his former Rocky co-star.
Blue suede shoes: Sly looked a little put out by the rain, perhaps because of his blue suede shoes
Casual: He’d been shopping at a nearby boutique when the admirers approached him on foot
The duo certainly seemed to be on better terms than their former alter egos Drago and Rocky Balboa.
Sly wrote beside a smiling Instagram snap: ‘Ran into Dolph Lundgren at lunch. And no, we did not fight over the check or have a rematch!’
Acting duo Stallone and Lundrgren starred alongside eachother in 1985’s Rocky IV and again in 1990 for Rocky 5.
Hanging out: It looked like Sly’s shoes were getting ruined in the rain
