Another hot, humid, sweaty weekend has come and gone, and I’m finally getting the gist of how to dress. This isn’t an easy feat, and as all those living in such humidity know, the fact that you sweat through your clothes the second you exit your home is pretty much enough to not want to wear, well, anything.

Of course, that’s not possible, but celeb sightings in nearly naked clothing are at an all-time high, probably for this reason. Jennifer Lawrence was just spotted out and about in a sweltering Big Apple with her husband, making her the latest to wear see-through clothes in the most unexpected way. The actress could’ve come straight home from the beach  with that bucket hat and a swimsuit under her sheer cover – up. However, it seems she was just running some errands in the city, wearing a comfy, lightweight, trendy look that had a lot to it.

She opted for a simple, sheer mini tank dress in a soft purple hue that feels fresh and summery. She didn’t stop there, though. Instead of wearing said mini on its own, she paired the number with flared yoga pants (say what!)—proof that the dress – with – pants combo is still going strong. Though you might see the trend less this time of year, prepare to see a whole lot more of it in the next four months.
