After transfer talks amid Erik ten Hag’s U-turn, Jadon Sancho “validates” his departure from Man United.

Jadon Sancho has reportedly been in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a potential move as his long-term future at Manchester United remains unclear.

After the reconciliation with Erik ten Hag, Sancho made his first appearance in a United shirt almost a year later, in their 2-0 friendly win over Rangers. He started on the left of United’s front three, with Amad and Joe Hugill scoring the goals.

Despite being part of United’s pre-season plans ahead of the new Premier League campaign, there is still speculation over his long-term future at Old Trafford as he continues to attract interest. And Foot Mercato are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are set to reach a contract agreement with Sancho.

After losing Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer to Real Madrid, the French champions are looking for a replacement. They are said to have Sancho in their top three to reinforce their front line.

Elsewhere, French publication L’Equipe claims that PSG are still looking to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli, but the club are also ‘advancing’ on other potential deals to try to complete the signing of a winger. It is said that the club and player have spent ‘several days’ engaged in conversation, but a contract agreement is yet to be reached.

However, it is thought that Sancho has ‘validated’ the idea of playing in France. Barcelona and Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old winger and are thought to be following his situation.
