Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt arrived on the red carpet for the 14th annual Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday, with both actresses opting for gowns with plunging, crystal necklines.
In honor of this year’s event, Robbie wore a floor-length black dress with cutouts on the bodice and a crystal-embellished strappy neckline from Celine. She coordinated the dress with black Manolo Blahnik heels and accessorized the dress with diamond jewelry from Fred Leighton, including statement earrings and rings.Margot Robbie at the 14th Governors Awards on Jan. 9 Los Angeles.

The Governors Awards is an annual event celebrating awards conferred by the Academy’s Board of Governors. The awards include the honorary awards and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. Recipients are announced each summer and usually honored at a dinner gala in November, which was scheduled for Nov. 18, but wound up postponed due to the SAG strike.
The recipients at this year’s ceremony for the honorary Oscars included Angela Bassett, Mel Brooks and Carol Littleton, and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award went to Sundance Institute’s Michelle Satter. Satter is the founder and director of the Sundance Institute’s artist programs.
The Governors Awards are a precursor to the major Oscars ceremony, which is scheduled for March 10 this year.
