Adonis, Drake’s son, meets Kylian Mbappé, the soccer player, while the two watch a match. Brussaux, Sophie: “Too Excited”

Drake’s son is no stranger to famous figures, but he was starstruck to meet one of the greats in sports.

The rapper’s 6-year-old son, Adonis, attended a Paris Saint-Germain game with mom Sophie Brussaux over the weekend. The mother-son duo got to meet one of the team’s star players, Kylian Mbappé, posing for a photo together that the French artist, 34, shared on her Instagram Story on Monday.

The proud mom thanked the soccer star and others for making the special moment happen for her little guy.

“Adonis was too excited,” she wrote, as translated from French.

The mom also shared a funny selfie from their seats, joking she asked her son to “take a nice picture with mom,” to which he made a funny face at the camera.

Adonis — who splits his time between living with Brussaux in France and the “Polar Opposites” rapper, 37, in Toronto — has been fluent in French since he was a toddler.

In an adorable video posted in 2022 on Instagram, Adonis asked his dad if he wanted to be taught how to speak “en français.” Drake responded, “yes, please,” and Adonis began his lesson, speaking in French as his dad repeated each word back to him.

As the lesson continued, Drake asked, “Is that really what you said or are you just making stuff up?” Adonis joked back by keeping quiet, prompting Drake to call his son “a funny guy.”

In October, Adonis celebrated his 6th birthday by releasing his first rap song and video on his Instagram, with the help of his dad.

In the music video, Adonis wears a basketball jersey and raps while shooting hoops with his friends and drawing on a whiteboard, with Drake even popping into the video for a cameo.

“Happy birthday my son…MY MAN FREESTYLE OUT NOW,” Drake proudly announced in his Instagram caption.

The proud father also shared a video on his Instagram Story of his son’s first live performance. Drake could be heard screaming and cheering for his son as Adonis rapped his single, writing “Dialed in” across the photo.
