Spring has sprung and for the Hathaway Schulman household that means it is time for walkies!

With New York finally getting some proper sunshine, Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman did not waste any time taking their beloved dogs outside to make the most of the nicer weather.

And you certainly did not have to ask their pooches twice with Kenobi and Esmeralda appearing almost as if they were smiling as they trotted along beside their owners.

The 32-year-old recently drew attention for using a large turquoise umbrella to shade her porcelain skin when walking outside.

This Sunday, however, she traded the not so subtle way to keep out of the sun for a tan straw hat that covered her hair and provided adequate protection for her face.

With a coffee in one hand, the star was in charge of walking rather frisky Kenobi, who is the more recent addition to the family.

Wearing a long high waist black and white checked skirt, the alabaster beauty showed off a glimpse of her toned midriff.

A black wide shoulder cropped sweater displayed her slender collar bones and added to the retro feel of her look.

Keeping with the outfit’s theme, the star skipped wearing joggers in favour of some slip in flats that were stylish and still practical for walking.

The native New York couple adopted their small mixed-breed dog last year and named him Kenobi after the Star Wars character Obi Wan-Kenobi, US Weekly reported.

Kenobi joined Esmeralda, the Chocolate Labrador Retriever, which has been the couple’s fur baby for years.

 

Anne is currently performing in a one-woman act in an off-Broadway play called Grounded which is at the Public Theater until the end of May.
