Drake Has Reached 100 Billion Spotify Streams, Becoming the First

Drake became the first artist to reach 100 billion streams on Spotify, making history in the process. He has amassed 78,140,542 monthly listeners despite being embroiled in a widely reported spat with Kendrick Lamar. He has released a number of well-known diss tunes during the dispute, such as “Family Matters,” “The Heart Part 6,” and others. Drake and Sexyy Red recently collaborated on the song “U My Everything.”

Drake is now the first artist in history to reach 100 billion Spotify streams 🏆

The news of Drake’s achievement was shared by Kurrco on X (formerly Twitter), sparking fan discussions about his feud with Lamar. One fan commented, “Lmao [laughing emoji] man diss Spotify for now giving artists what they deserved, still couldn’t stop him from getting a billi [fire emojis] haters gonna hate.” Another fan added, “Drake gave a career to Kanye and Kendrick, Metro and Future and is too much above the Rap Game. It will never change until he retires.”

The beef with Lamar began earlier this year when Kendrick dissed Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s track “Like That.” In response, Drake released several diss tracks, with “Family Matters” alone garnering 75 million streams. Lamar countered with tracks like “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us.”

Drake’s impressive streaming numbers were confirmed by Hip Hop All Day and verified by KWORB, which tracks streams and rankings. Bad Bunny is his closest competition across all genres, with 78.5 billion streams. In the rap genre, Drake has more than double the streams of Eminem, who has 46.8 billion.

In other news, Drake recently released the long-awaited diss track “Push Ups,” taking another shot at Kendrick Lamar. The song’s cover art features a label for a size 7 shoe, mocking Kendrick with the line: “How the fuck you big steppin‘ with a size-seven men’s?” However, a sneaker boutique clarified that Kendrick’s shoe size is actually 8.5-9.

“Push Ups,” produced by Boi-1da, Amir “Fierce” Sims, Scotty Coleman, and Noel Cadastre, addresses various ongoing beefs, particularly with Lamar. The song was officially released through OVO Sound and has been confirmed as an authentic Drake track.
