Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have gone almost a year since their last major project came out but still have a number of new ones in the pipeline.
Heart of Invictus was released in August 2023 on Netflix ahead of Prince Harry’s Invictus Games tournament for wounded veterans a couple of weeks later.
Since then, they have teased several other projects without actually releasing anything.
Prince Harry’s Polo Documentary
In April, Archewell Productions announced the Duke of Sus𝑠e𝑥 was working on a documentary about polo, a sport he has played since his youth when he would take to the field alongside King Charles III and Prince William.
A press release at the time said it would be “shot primarily at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida at The USPA National Polo Center, and in partnership with Boardwalk Pictures, will provide viewers with unprecedented access to the world of professional polo.
“Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level.”
Harry’s friend Nacho Figueras, an Argentinian socialite, is likely to play a major role in the show.
Meghan’s Lifestyle Show
At the same time in April, the couple announced another non-fiction show “curated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sus𝑠e𝑥,” that would “celebrate the joys of cooking & gardening, entertaining, and friendship,” according to their website.
It is not entirely clear what form the show will take but the subject matter looks set to chime with another major Sus𝑠e𝑥 project, American Riviera Orchard, Meghan’s lifestyle brand.
A press release in April read: “Both shows are in various stages of production and their titles and release dates will be announced in the coming months.”
Meet Me at The Lake
The couple are also said to be working on a film adaptation of the hit romance novel Meet Me at the Lake, by Carley Fortune.
The book tells the story of Fern, who had a dream day-long date in Toronto, where Meghan used to live, with Will Baxter while she was in her early 20s only to lose touch with him.
Now aged in her 30s, he stumbles back into her life after she returns home to run her mother’s lake-side resort.
Few details of the project have emerged since it was first revealed in August 2023 that Netflix had bought the rights on behalf of Harry and Meghan and there have still been no cast announcements.
American Riviera Orchard
Meghan soft launched her new lifestyle brand in March with an Instagram and accompanying website but there is still little known about the company.
She handed out samples of jam to celebrity friends, leading to the widespread assumption she would be selling produce.
However, there has still been little to no detail on American Riviera Orchard and what it will offer its customers.
