On Thursday night the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their second-straight Super Bowl title with a private ring ceremony.

Before the event officially kicked off, Patrick Mahomes met with E! News reporter Francesca Amiker outside of Nelson Atkins Museum. During the brief interview, the star quarterback shared his thoughts on what the celebration itself means.

“It was a wild ride of a season and I’m glad we were able to go out there and get the win,” he said.

The three-time Super Bowl champion was also asked about his children, Serling and Bronze, whom Mahomes revealed are big Taylor Swift fans.

“We’re all big football fans in the Mahomes household and big Taylor Swift fans as well,” Mahomes said before the event kicked off.

The kids are the only ones who have grown fond of Swift in recent months. Patrick’s wife, Brittany, and the superstar singer have become friends since Swift started attending Chiefs games during the 2023 season. The duo was spotted next to each other on more than one occasion – always in their own booth.

“I love it,” Brittany told E!. “I love that it’s getting young girls into football so that they can watch it with their dad.”
