Lizzo makes an unexpected entrance at the Grammy Awards following allegations of đť‘ eđť‘Ąual harassment.

As Lizzo presented SZA with the Best R&B Song during the Grammy Awards, people were taken aback because Lizzo had been accused of đť‘ eđť‘Ąual harassment the previous year.

The 66th annual award show’s viewers were shocked to see Lizzo make her first significant appearance after she appeared to fade from the public eye due to accusations made the previous year, which she adamantly disputes. She was sued by several backup dancers who claimed she had harassed them đť‘ eđť‘Ąually and created a toxic work environment.

The star said at the time: “These sensationalized stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional. As an artist, I have always been very passionate about what I do. I take my music and my performances seriously because, at the end of the day, I only want to put out the best art that represents me and my fans.”

Following Lizzo’s surprise arrival, fans reacted to the singer’s first major appearance since the scandal on X, which was formerly Twitter. “Has Lizzo been seen or heard from since the allegations of đť‘ eđť‘Ąual assault?” one person wrote. Is this the initial instance?

Lizzo made an unexpected visit on stage to accept a Grammy for her chart-topping song Snooze from her blockbuster album SOS. She graciously welcomed her close friend SZA to the stage. As SZA took the stage, she gave Lizzo a warm hug and expressed her gratitude for supporting her during her whole career. She said: “Lizzo and I have been friends since 2013 when were on tour together…to be on the stage with her is really great. I’m really appreciative.”

Lizzo’s bid to have the lawsuit dismissed was turned down by the court yesterday, meaning the case will go forward. They did, however, refute some of the accusations, such as the ones that she forced people to pose nude for a picture for her program “Watch Out for the Big Grrrls” and that she fat shamed a dancer.

Stefan Friedman, a spokesperson for Lizzo, said: “Lizzo is grateful to the judge for seeing through much of the noise and recognizing who she is — a strong woman who exists to lift others up and spread positivity.

“We plan to appeal all elements that the judge chose to keep in the lawsuit and are confident we will prevail.”
