Beyoncé Pays Tribute to Prince on His Birthday with Iconic T-Shirt, Recalling Their Legendary Duet.

Beyonce posted a heartwarming Instagram montage Friday of herself wearing a t-shirt promoting her late duet partner Prince – on what would have been his 65th birthday.

Prince and Beyonce famously joined forces onstage at the 2004 Grammy Awards, performing a medley that included his iconic 1984 single Purple Rain.

Now, two decades later, Beyonce has let her fans in on her enduring nostalgia for Prince, who died of an accidental overdose in 2016 at the age of just 57.

She struck pose after pose in her Prince t-shirt, which she teamed with a set of fashionably baggy acid wash jeans and a pair of cat-eye shades.

Sweeping her platinum blonde hairdo back, she accentuated the look with a sumptuous coat made of what may have been faux fur.

Beyonce and Prince’s Grammy duet included her fan favorite number Crazy In Love, which saw him accompany her on the electric guitar.

Afterwards, Prince gave an interview in which he shared his appraisal of Beyonce’s musical abilities when they worked together.

‘I was really curious as to how much she knew musically, and I was really pleased to find out that she knew a lot about scales – Mixolydian scales and Egyptian styles and different things like that,’ he said.

‘And I was just trying to show her some chords on the piano and help her to respect the fact that if she learns piano à la Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles and things like that, the sky’s the limit as to what she could do, ’cause she’s so very talented.’

Her new Prince posts come one day after Beyonce returned to Instagram amid speculation that her weeks-long absence from the publicity circuit is somehow connected to Diddy.

The 32-time Grammy Award-winner, 42, offloaded a slew of glamour shots that show her rocking a beige cowboy hat and a busty suede frock.

Beyonce has seemingly ‘disappeared’ after releasing her new album Cowboy Carter this past March and she hasn’t attended a single red carpet event since the iHeart Radio Music Awards on April 1.

A wild conspiracy theory is suggesting that both Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z, 54, are ‘laying low’ amid their disgraced pal Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ 𝑠e𝑥ual abuse scandal, as per Page Six.

An insider further speculates that the couple are so ‘nervous’ about drawing attention to their Diddy ties that Beyonce is purposely neglecting Cowboy Carter promo.

DailyMail.com has reached out to reps for Beyonce and Jay-Z for comment.
